A Collection by Slam Dunks Studios

Drop 001 marks the first official release from Slam Dunks Studios.

The studio was founded on a simple idea: that small cultural artifacts—like trading cards—deserve to live in the spaces where we work, think, and create. While most collectibles are stored away in binders, boxes, or cases, Drop 001 explores a different approach: turning those artifacts into intentional everyday objects.

The Collection

This first release introduces three core studio objects, each designed to shift the way we interact with our collections:

  • Growth Planter: A functional planter with an integrated card display.
  • Essentials: A minimalist desk object for a single card display.
  • Tre: A premium display for evolution lines or curated trios.

The Vision

The goal of Drop 001 is not scale, but study—understanding how nostalgia can live in modern spaces through design. Each object is produced in small batches and paired with authentic trading cards curated specifically by the studio.

This release is intentionally limited and serves as the foundation for all future studio drops.

Material & Craftsmanship

All objects in Drop 001 are produced using high-quality PLA, a plant-derived bioplastic. By utilizing additive manufacturing, we produce locally in small batches with minimal waste. Subtle layer lines or surface variations are a normal characteristic of this process, reflecting the unique, small-batch nature of the "First Study."
